I have tried to solo him with my mage in full epics and i could not do it.Ĭomment by arkovNot the easiest fight as a poorly geared 70 fire mage. Having the ability to interrupt his heals on short cooldown (kick in my case) is what make him easy, or very hard if you dont have it. He hits for around 450 and has a special attack for 800 dmg (on leather armor in this case) which is not much if you are a melee class and can avoid damage by dodge/parry/block. Took a few minutes for him to come back down again but when he did i used one evasion (rogue skill +50% dodge) and he dropped quite fast. I was lucky so he went up the ramp when i arrived to him so i could kill the elemental and dwarfes and down where he usually stands. I however soloed him tonight on my 69 hemo rogue with 6500 hp and he was quite easy when you can pull him without adds. Since I did it for the key quest and not a measly blue (shard), it was a little more worthwhile to me, but ouch.Ĭomment by 102490As stated before he is standing at the bottom of the ramp right after Lord Incendius and he patrols to the top of the ramp but he doesn't do that very often, so if you trying to farm him for shards it is not worth the time waiting for him to move to make a easy pull without adds. He didn't try to run away, and finally dropped dead.

A mangle feral druid might have an easier time with higher DPS.

I really pulled out all the stops for healing myself (the fight was so long that my cooldowns finished a couple times).
IRONFELL WOW PLUS
He sat at half health for a while as I just bore it and hoped he ran out of mana (which he did): frenzied regen, bash-heal, bash-pot, barkskin, nature's swiftness instant heal, lots of regrowths plus rejuv, and I even innervated myself once. And I lost count of how many times I had to heal myself.įineous has a special attack that took off 600-700 hp per hit, not to mention that he heals himself. I was in a few Outland greens, some Outland blues, and had the Warden staff. With this static mob group gone, I had the entire bottom ramp to myself and just waited for Fineous to patrol down again. I had to heal myself at least twice as I took down the Construct first and then the three ranged fighters. That way I didn't have to worry about accidentally aggroing Fineous if and when he came down the ramp again. The trick here is a line-of-sight pull behind the wall to Incendius' platform.

With Fineous patrolling up the ramp and the patrol Construct down, I finally took on the static Construct and his three non-elite ranged cohorts. I had to wait a while for him to come down, but he comes down far enough to pull individually (I waited until Fineous started patrolling away for this, since I didn't want to accidentally aggro him). Then there is a patrolling Warbringer Construct that comes all the way down the ramp and almost to the entrance of Incendius' platform. He does patrol, but he's slow and stops in three places of the ramp that I could tell: top, middle, and bottom.įirst I got rid of the two fire elementals that guard the entrance between Incendius and Fineous' area. I don't even remember how I got to him since I got very lost, but basically, I dropped *down* onto the area where Incendius is and stealthed to the entrance where Fineous patrols. Comment by 66648I managed to solo BRD through Fineous with my 62 semi-feral druid (non-mangle) for the Ironfel quest, but boy.talk about hairy.
